Mother’s Day 2023
Spring is here, finally!
We joined in on the Dover Spring Fling yesterday with a flower truck pop up downtown at Erin Claire, and it was so much fun to be out enjoying the beautiful weather, meeting many friends and neighbors. I'm so grateful to see this crazy vision come to life, and that people love local flowers as much as I do!
I'll be relaxing a bit in the sunshine today (and catching up on a looot of seed starting), and then we're looking ahead to next weekend. Mother's Day! There are lots of ways to get flowers, whether you're celebrating or not.
Here's our lineup:
1. The Art of Flowers workshop on Saturday at 11 am: Designer Naomi Azriel, artist Paige Smith and I are teaming up for workshop at Vine 32 Wine + Graze Bar! I'll be bringing tons of beautiful tulips, Naomi is going to teach us how to design with them, and Paige is going to lead us in watercolor painting them. It's going to be so much fun, I can't wait to get creative and play with flowers!
2. Wine tasting & stem bar at The Fermanent in Dover on Saturday from 4-6 pm: Come enjoy a free wine tasting and grab some flowers over at Pointe Place. They have a great selection of wines that you can't find elsewhere!
3. Flower truck pop up at Wild Bevy in Wells on Sunday at 2-5 pm: If you haven't been to Wild Bevy yet, this is the day! It's a distillery with delicious drinks and a pizza truck, and the weather next Sunday is looking perfect. Grab a botanical cocktail and make your own bouquet!
4. Pre-order tulips or flower subscriptions: Both make great gifts. 🙂 We're offering tulip wraps for pickup (in Dover or in Portsmouth) or delivery, and we'll also be dropping some wraps off at Avelon Home in Portsmouth on Friday. I recommend pre-ordering if you want to guarantee availability as these have been going quickly. And check out our 2023 flower subscriptions right this way (bi-weekly bouquets July - September).
The rest of May we have private events going on so these are our only public events for the month. Hope to see you next weekend for flowers!
